Support our Campus Community
The Ole Miss Food Bank is an anonymous resource available to students, faculty and staff. Every gift makes a difference in the lives of our community members.
$75
Meet Evolving Needs
To promote social distancing and the health and safety of our community, the Ole Miss Food Bank has moved to Grab N Go bags exclusively. Your gift will go to work right away providing critical resources during the pandemic and beyond.
$150
Invest in this Campus Resource
The Food Bank is located in Kinard Hall, Room 213, the same building of the University Police Department. Those with needs can visit M-F and find Grab N Go outside the entrance. Scholarships often do not cover food costs, and many students have lost part-time jobs. (Ole Miss does offer limited hours of Rebel Market on weekdays for pickup only.) Your investment will help meet the needs of 200-plus students unable to leave campus because of financial barriers, as well as others still living in Oxford.
$500
Help Students Succeed
According to a 2016 study by the College and University Food Bank Alliance , students who experience food insecurity were negatively impacted academically and reported choosing not to purchase a required textbook, missing class and dropping a class as outcomes related to lack of food access and basic needs.

Address Urgent Needs
On the University of Mississippi campus, a 2017 Honors thesis by K.L. Halfacre found that 46.1 percent of students were food insecure, with 24.7 percent experiencing low food insecurity. These needs have compounded in the wake of COVID-19. Your gift will help ease the burden of food insecurity felt by so many in our community.
$1,855
Radically Increased Demand
In the two weeks after campus closed, the Ole Miss Food Bank gave out over 1,855 lbs. of food. This is an unprecedented increase in need on campus. Your support allows us to meet this increased demand.
