Your gift helps provide micro-grants to Ole Miss students with modest financial shortfalls that prevent them from registering for fall classes. These grants can help prevent our students from suspending their studies or dropping out.

This year’s first-year retention rate at Ole Miss was a record high of 86.8%. With the Rebel Retention Fund, we are able to double our efforts and commitment to our students. Your investment allows us to keep our Rebels on track to graduation.

Data shows if students drop out for even a single semester, they have only a 30% chance of returning to complete their degrees. Our students deserve better than those odds and we are committed to giving them the necessary resources to graduate. Your investment helps make sure they stay on track.

This year, a record 5,000+ students graduated (December 2019 and May and August 2020 candidates). With your support, we can increase those numbers with much-needed assistance. We can watch with pride as future graduates cross the stage at Commencement. Please give now!

Sometimes $500 may be all that stands in the way of a student enrolling for the fall semester. When financial aid options have been maxed out, the Rebel Retention Fund will cover the remaining balances in Bursar accounts, allowing qualifying students to continue pursuing their education.
