Staying in the 'Sip is a project in partnership with RebelTHON, the University of Mississippi's annual dance marathon. RebelTHON is one of the largest student-led organizations on campus and is a part of the nationwide movement of colleges and universities raising both financial support and awareness for local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Our efforts support the Children's Miracle Network, a national nonprofit organization that raises funds to support medical treatments and services for facilities specializing in caring for kids. Children's of Mississippi, the Children's Miracle Network Hospital at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, is the ONLY children's hospital in our state!
Not only does RebelTHON support Children's of Mississippi financially, its members also spend time getting to know our Miracle Kids and their families.
Our campaign is titled "Staying in the 'Sip" because our goal is for Children's of Mississippi to be able to provide the specialized care, treatment and facilities that any child in Mississippi may need. This will allow our state's children to never have to leave home, yet still be provided with the best care possible.
Donate today and join the fight to change children’s health in the state of Mississippi!
Even small gifts can prove the power of mission-critical funds. Some of the most valuable gifts we receive can be applied to the areas where the need is greatest.
Your $25 gift can help provide everyday needs for our smallest patients: diapers, pediatric-sized pressure cuffs, child-sized hospital gowns and more.
You can provide charity care for patients and families. CMN Hospitals provides $3.4 billion in charity care annually, which makes a crucial impact on families needing assistance.
You can help children understand and process their treatment plans. Child Life Specialists use mock operating rooms to help children understand upcoming treatment with play therapy, performing it together on a stuffed animal.
You can provide specialized services like pet therapy. Interacting with a friendly pet can help soothe our patients physically and mentally.
You can make child-sized veins easier to find. Vein illuminators assist with IV insertion, making children's veins easier to find, resulting in less pain.
You can help tiny patients get to the hospital. Ambulance incubators allow the tiniest of patients to be transported safely with the right life-saving equipment.
