Last week, a devastating weather system swept through the southern United States, leaving a trail of destruction and heartbreak in its wake. The storms struck on March 31st and April 1st, and many families lost their homes and possessions in the chaos.

Desoto was hit hard as powerful tornadoes tore through these communities leaving nothing but destruction and devastation in their wake. There was some damage in Tupelo as well. These cities are home to satellite campuses of Ole Miss, and many of our students and their families have been impacted by this tragic event.

We must come together to support one another during this difficult time. We cannot stand idly by as our fellow students and their loved ones struggle to rebuild their lives after such a catastrophic event. We must act now and offer our assistance in any way we can.

I implore you to lend your support and help those affected by this tragedy. No matter how small, every contribution can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have lost so much. Let us show the strength and compassion of the Ole Miss community by standing together and supporting one another through these trying times.

Greetings and a warm welcome to all visitors! We are a group of dedicated MBA students who have come together to launch an emergency fund for the spring 2023 semester at The University of Mississippi. Our primary objective is to help our Ole Miss family members who are experiencing financial difficulties during these challenging times. We recognize that many students and their families are struggling to meet the financial demands of higher education due to unforeseen circumstances.

Through this emergency fund, we aim to provide financial assistance to our fellow students facing unexpected challenges, such as unexpected medical expenses, loss of income, or other financial hardships. Our ultimate goal is to help alleviate the financial burden for students and families along with enabling them to continue their education and achieve their goals.

We are proud to have a team of compassionate and motivated contributors working tirelessly to raise funds for this noble cause. Our team includes Andrew Boyd, Baylor Franklin, Quinn Gordon, Thomas Hudson, John Cleary, and Kyle Zavitz, who are committed to positively impacting our fellow students' lives.
