From April 1 to April 17, Grove Grocery at the University of Mississippi will be competing in the annual SEC Food Fight, a competition between SEC schools’ food pantries.
The goal is to raise the most funds to support food security efforts across the Southeastern Conference. Each dollar donated brings Ole Miss and Grove Grocery closer to victory, while also addressing the critical issue of food insecurity on campus.
Food insecurity is an urgent problem that affects many students, faculty and staff. National studies show that every 1 in 3 college students face food insecurity. Grove Grocery works to combat this by providing students, faculty and staff with a range of essential goods through our on-campus pantry. With your help, Grove Grocery can expand its mission to help those in need, and your donation could relieve someone’s worry about where their next meal will come from.
Now is the time to take action! Participate in the SEC Food Fight and show your support for Ole Miss by donating to Grove Grocery. Let’s show Ole Miss’ dominance in the fiercest rivalry in the country – the SEC!
A donation of $8.50 can provide a student with one meal swipe on their student ID. Every meal matters!
There are 16 schools in the Southeastern Conference. Donate to help us show Ole Miss is the most dedicated to fighting food insecurity!
A $25 donation could provide someone in need with a nutritious dinner, alleviating their worry of food insecurity and allowing them to focus on their education.
Ole Miss made history with its first SEC Championship in 1947. Let’s make history again by conquering food insecurity together!
A $100 donation could help Grove Grocery purchase fresh produce and poultry, ensuring that students, faculty and staff have access to nutritious, whole foods.
Your donation of $250 could provide multiple meals for students, supporting their well-being and ensuring they have access to the foods they need.
Let’s fight food insecurity together and show that Ole Miss leads the way in compassion for our community!
