We are so grateful for all the generous donations that helped us surpass our goal of $10,000! The Pavilion has been open for a little over a month and it has already shaped our campus culture in amazing ways. The construction is almost 100% complete, and with that being said, the flag pole for the American flag will be raised in the coming weeks! Soon after it is raised for the first time, a plaque will be put into place for the Class of 2016 recognizing us for our donation.

The Senior Class Officers wish everyone best of luck on their final exams! Our fall semester is quickly drawing to a close and we are in the final stretch of our Senior Class Legacy Gift. We are just $2,561 away from reaching our goal and we have 4 days left!

We’ve raised 55% toward our campaign dollar goal, and we need everyone’s help to reach $10,000. Even more important is our unofficial goal of seeing at least 50% of our class "give back" to the University of Mississippi. We aim to achieve the highest senior class participation rate in Ole Miss history. We currently have 13% participation rate and hope to recruit at least 2,016 seniors to give to our Class of 2016 campaign.  

Did you know that when seniors participate in the Class Legacy Gift it helps Ole Miss in national rankings? Alumni giving participation factors into the U.S. News & World Report rankings. When seniors give, we add to the value of our Ole Miss degrees as well as those of others.

Construction on The Pavilion at Ole Miss will be completed in just two months, and each day it becomes easier to see the future through this stunning building. The Senior Class of 2016 officers had the opportunity to check out construction last week, and we were WOWED! The new, unofficial "front door" of Ole Miss Athletics will soon welcome students, alumni and other visitors, and all will see the Class of 2016’s gift – three  flagpoles with flags flying in an attractive, landscaped area. With our Senior Class gift connected to The Pavilion, we each have an opportunity to be a part of a new tradition at Ole Miss. Many exciting events will take place in this arena.

Thank you, Ashley Hendrichovsky, Flagship Senior 2016 #12, for making a gift! Ashley won the drawing for a personal tour of The Pavilion! We also are excited to receive generous gifts from the Ladies of Alpha Omicron Pi, Nu Beta Chapter; the Gentleman of Alpha Tau Omega, Delta Psi Chapter; the Ladies of Delta Delta Delta, Chi Chapter; and the Ladies of Delta Gamma, Alpha Psi Chapter. Dear Class of 2016 Seniors,

Thank you for your support over the past two weeks for the Class of 2016’s gift to the University of Mississippi. We are raising funds to install three flag poles and an enclave between The Pavilion at Ole Miss and the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. This area is sure to become a popular spot for students, alumni and friends to meet when visiting campus. We are 12% toward our goal, and here’s the exciting part: Out of the 54 gifts received thus far, 50 are from SENIORS! We are thrilled that seniors are taking on the responsibility for this gift.

In a short 72 days, the Tad C. Smith Coliseum will host its last Ole Miss Basketball game. The doors will close, but the memories will never be forgotten. Just four days after that, the entrances to the new Pavilion at Ole Miss will swing open, ushering in an exciting era! The Ole Miss Basketball team will play the first game in this stunning facility January 7.

We will always treasure the times we cheered for our Rebels from the Tad Pad’s “Club Red,” but this campaign represents our opportunity to be the Flagship Seniors at The Pavilion! We will be a part of new traditions being created as well as the continuation of cherished ones. We need your support in making this project a reality; we can accomplish this goal only when at least 2,100 seniors get behind this initiative!
