Beat LSU Week continues! On Wednesday, nearly 100 of you showed up to give and help Ole Miss beat LSU in our fundraising challenge.
Last night, we went to bed with a comfortable lead in the competition. It felt like going up by 30 at halftime. But today, LSU came surging back.
So many of you have given generously to the Ole Miss Fund during Beat Week, and we consider that a huge win, no matter the outcome. However, with just a little extra effort, we can beat LSU twice this week.
If you've already given, please tell your family, friends, and social networks about Beat Week. Send them the link to https://ignite.olemiss.edu/beatweek and ask them to make a gift. You can keep up with the competition at https://www.magnoliabeatweek.com/. When you see LSU making another comeback, let's work together to shut them down at the goal line and recover the ball!
Every gift of $5 or more pushes us to victory! Let's win Beat Week!
Hi Rebels! Thank you for giving generously to Magnolia Beat Week! After a strong start, Ole Miss jumped to an early lead over our purple-and-yellow rivals. But LSU has rallied back and has taken a tiny lead over our donor total. We need your help!
Remember, every gift, no matter the size, can push us to victory over LSU. So spread the word, tell your friends, family and social media networks to visit https://ignite.olemiss.edu/beatweek and make a gift now! Keep an eye on the leaderboard at https://www.magnoliabeatweek.com/ and help us retake the lead.
Let's beat LSU twice this week! Hotty Toddy!
Every gift of any size matters. Even $5 can help defeat LSU. Join the fight!
The yearly SEC contest between LSU and Ole Miss is called the Magnolia Bowl. Last year, Ole Miss won in Vaught-Hemingway stadium, 55 to 49.
Beat Week is a new tradition between our two powerhouse universities. What's better than beating LSU once? Beating them twice!
The best part of Beat Week: no matter the score, everyone wins. Raising resources and support for critical projects at our beloved Ole Miss is always a victory. We know LSU's supporters feel the same way.
The gridiron matchup between Ole Miss and LSU is one of the oldest rivalries in college sports. The first game was played back in 1894. Ole Miss won, 26 to 6.
In this contest, every contribution counts as one more gift in the fight against LSU. So it doesn't matter whether you give $5 or $5,000, every gift can help us win Beat Week. Your gifts have a life-changing impact on our students. The Ole Miss Fund addresses the university’s most pressing needs, improving campus facilities and technology, funding scholarships and providing support for faculty and exciting new initiatives. So, if you are able, please give generously!
