In less than 24 hours, more than 750 of you answered the call with compassion and urgency. Your support of the Rebel Relief Disaster Fund embodies the resilient spirit that defines our recovery. Because of you, help will reach students when they need it most.

As of this morning, more than 475 students have submitted requests for relief support. The most common needs are immediate and essential: food, water, and maintaining stable housing as many students are unable to work due to limited business operations across the community.

Behind the scenes, the UMatter team and the Office of Financial Aid are working tirelessly to process requests and deliver support as quickly as possible. We are grateful to them as many of these staff members are doing this work while still without power or reliable internet in their own homes. Their commitment, paired with your generosity, is making this critical response possible.
